REMAKE

REMAKE, the latest film from legendary documentarian Ross McElwee, begins its theatrical run at New York City’s Film Forum tomorrow! REMAKE is screening alongside a new 4K restoration of SHERMAN’S MARCH, Ross’s delightful, groundbreaking documentary.
Ross is in town to discuss both films. Last night, This American Life host Ira Glass moderated the Q&A of a sold out screening of SHERMAN’S MARCH. Tonight, director Mira Nair hosts a pre-screening conversation with Ross. This weekend, filmmakers Kirsten Johnson and Yance Ford will moderate Q&As after REMAKE.

BABY DOE

BABY DOE, Jessica Earnshaw’s complex documentary about pregnancy denial and the dramatic murder trial of Gail Ritchey, begins a week-long run in New York City at DCTV’s Firehouse Theater tomorrow!
The opening night screening is co-hosted by Pregnancy Justice featuring a Q&A moderated by The New Yorker Staff Writer Jia Tolentino. Tickets are available here. The film will screen in Los Angeles on July 14 and 15, San Francisco on July 19, and select other cities across the country.
