+ NOW SHOWING

THE SHEPHERD AND THE BEAR

THE SHEPHERD AND THE BEAR is now screening across the U.S. on its Far & Wide Tour, focusing primarily on theaters in mountain, rural, and agricultural areas. Max Keegan’s cinematic documentary explores a conflict provoked by the reintroduction of brown bears in the midst of a traditional shepherding community. Watch the trailer here

THE SHEPHERD AND THE BEAR started its cross-country tour in March and will continue to screen from coast to coast through May. Next stops include screenings at San Francisco’s Roxie Theater on 4/9, Las Vegas on 4/12, and Salt Lake City on 4/17. Make sure to browse the full schedule to find a screening near you. For more updates, follow the film on Instagram.

WE ARE PAT

A very special screening of WE ARE PAT is coming to Los Angeles in May!

Directed by Rowan Haber, WE ARE PAT is a hilarious examination of the 1990s SNL sketch ”It’s Pat” through the lens of 2025, trans-visibility, and their own conflicted recollection of the controversial character.

On Saturday, May 23, the legendary Hollywood Improv in L.A. will host a screening of the film with a special Q&A with director Rowan Haber and Pat creator and actress Julia Sweeney. If you’re ready for a good laugh (aren’t we all?), buy your tickets here.

+ FESTS

Spring Festivals are in full swing, and we’re delighted to share the next festival stops for IP Films!

REMAKE and SOUL PATROL have been invited to Chicago’s DOC 10 Festival in May.

REMAKE will also celebrate its West Coast premiere as part of the American Cinematheque’s THIS IS NOT A FICTION Festival in L.A. In addition to screening REMAKE, the festival will also screen a new restoration of director Ross McElwee’s 1986 classic SHERMAN’S MARCH and his 2011 feature PHOTOGRAPHIC MEMORY.

This month, Itab Azzam and Jack MacInnes’s longitudinal Sundance award-winning ONE IN A MILLION will celebrate its New York premiere at First Look at the Museum of the Moving Image in NYC and its West Coast premiere at the San Francisco International Film Festival. To learn more about upcoming festival screenings, follow the film on Instagram.
